The brief
What CardSync needed
CardSync is an inventory and selling platform for trading card shops, starting with Pokémon. Shop owners needed one place to take in cards, track what they paid and sell quickly to their community, across the counter, online and in Discord.
VantaSoft designed and built the platform, from requirements through hand-off in July 2026.

Scan-to-inventory intake
Scan a card and it's added to inventory with its condition, cost basis and date.

Card database
A master card database tuned for search speed, with manual checks for edge-case and high-value cards.

Discord claim sales
Scheduled 48-hour sales run by a Discord bot, with max bids, a live leaderboard and a five-second closing buffer for Discord latency, then fulfillment and checkout for winners.

Online shop
A storefront fed from the shop's collections, with Discord pings when new cards go live.

Transaction Builder
Buys, sells and trades captured as they happen, with direct links to TCGplayer and eBay for price checks.

PSA submission tracking
Shops follow their PSA grading submissions, checked automatically every day.

Payments and payouts
Stripe Connect with CardSync as merchant of record, Stripe checkout and payouts to each shop's bank account.

Each shop invites its staff to share its inventory, sales and orders.
