The brief
What GTB Media needed
Caeli is GTB Media's app for mothers. It treats raising children as a journey for mother and child, and connects moms with real-life friendship and trusted experts for their hardest parenting and health questions, powered by the life's work of Dr. Bill Sears.
GTB Media needed the app built end to end, across iOS, Android and the web: onboarding, an AI chat with cited sources, editorial content, subscriptions and analytics.

AI chat with sources
Streaming answers with inline citations and expandable source cards, saved to a mom's profile, including a migration of the retrieval pipeline that grounds them.

Background-safe chat
The server saves every message as it streams, so a mom can lock her phone mid-answer and find it finished when she comes back.

Editorial content
An Article of the Day, a feed of articles and recipes, a Resources tab and a home screen, all managed in Contentful.

Onboarding
Phone sign-in with one-time codes, a question flow before signup and a short questionnaire before full access.

Subscriptions
Free and paid access with content gating, Stripe web checkout, and Sign in with Apple and in-app subscriptions for the App Store and Google Play.

Funnel tracking from onboarding to first question to payment, event tracking and referral attribution.
